A new Parasite eve game is coming out next year! Originally slated for a cellphone release like Final Fantasy XIII Agito, both games have been shifted to PSP development. The title of the game is 3rd Birthday, since is is an offshoot of the Parasite Eve universe and not officially a "Parasite Eve" game. Not quite sure how that's going to turn out as far as gameplay and storyline go, but SquarEnix stated that it will not play anything like the previous 2 games (I'm hoping it will be similar to RE4 personally) and will be mostly a run and gun game of some sort, some places are saying 3rd person shooter, but only time will tell.
As far as the story, the only things that are clear is that Aya was going ot be married when someone decided to show up and ruin it(Killing the groom we can assume). No other characters have been seen yet as the church that Aya is pictured in is empty, and no word on who she's marrying. I was hoping that she'd get a happy ending with Kyle after PE2, but I'm just hoping now that they aren't killing him off... and where is Eve???
Anyway, one thing is for sure, I have to get a PSP to play this and Dissidia!
